Future Pop producer Prince Fox dropped a teaser video this week for his upcoming track “IÂ Don’t Wanna Love You,” giving fans their first glimpse at his latest piece of work.
At just over a minute long, the video relives the producer’s October 30th performance at New York’s Webster Hall while teasing his new song. Set to the track in question, the teaser depicts Prince Fox as he takes to the DJ console in front of a stacked crowd.
As for the new song inself, “I Don’t Wanna Love You” features mellow synth chords, steadily building melodies and energetic but laid back beats. Driven by an as of yet uncredited vocalist, the new track places as much emphasis on pop sensibilities and melody as it does on groove, delivering an emotional appeal paralleled by few dance hits. The preview isn’t very long, but needless to say, this is one release we’ll be looking forward to.
