She-Hulk Fourth Wall breaks

‘She-Hulk’ star claims the internet knows more than she does about any potential season 2

If 'She-Hulk' season two is in the works, nobody has told Tatiana Maslany.

We liked She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and its fourth-wall-busting, incel-baiting antics, but it’s safe to say it wasn’t universally loved by the MCU fan base. Even so, those who liked it really liked it, and many are hoping for a second season sometime down the line. Rumors have been building that this is in the offing, perhaps showing more of Jennifer Walter’s relationship with her cousin Bruce Banner and their mutual extended family.

But if there are second-season plans, nobody has told star Tatiana Maslany. In a YouTube interview with GoldDerby she was asked about the show’s return and said:

“I feel like the internet knows more than I do. But I’d love to see what, I’d love to put her — as we had so many other actors come to our show and tonally shift their character. Put him or her in like a totally different scenario, a different universe — which is so fun about the Marvel universe is that there are multiple. There’s a multiverse, I didn’t know if you’re aware, but there is a multiverse. But putting her in a situation that is very unlikely, I think that would be super fun. The thing about She-Hulk, to me, is that she’s so out of place, and that out-of-placeness, I think has got legs.”

Even if She-Hulk won’t be coming back to Disney Plus in the near future, we doubt the character will be away for long. As Maslany identifies, the multiverse opens up an infinite range of possibilities for new versions of the character and worlds for her to visit. Perhaps in a future series of What If…?

Many predictions for a new Avengers team place her as the team’s muscle. Beyond that, there are rumors of a World War Hulk movie and it’d be strange if she didn’t step up to try and calm down a rampaging Hulk by appealing to his better side (and if that fails, with gamma-powered smashing).

Given Walters’ burgeoning relationship with Matt Murdock, she may also pop up in Daredevil: Born Again. Charlie Cox is currently shooting that show in New York, and as the first season will be a bumper 18 episodes, there’s more than enough space for Jen to make a cross-country trip to visit her new squeeze.

More on She-Hulk‘s MCU comeback as we hear it, as it’d be a shame if her story stopped here.
