Southwest passenger provides in-flight entertainment as video shows hair-pulling, screaming, and total chaos

Airlines should not be MMA rings.

A Southwest Airlines flight from New York City’s LaGuardia Airport heading to Kansas City turned into a scene of major disruption on Monday when an unidentified female passenger acted out in an extremely aggressive way. Her behavior escalated into a physical and verbal outburst, and multiple videos recorded the chaos.

As found by TMZ, the incident started when the woman, described as “going off the rails,” began screaming and acting erratically, quickly grabbing the attention of everyone on the plane. The situation worsened when the agitated passenger attacked another female traveler. The aggressive woman grabbed the other passenger’s hair and held on tightly, refusing to let go even as others tried to pull her away.

Passengers and crew members stepped in, trying to separate the two without making the already chaotic situation worse. The struggle continued as the aggressive passenger kept her grip, creating a disturbing scene for everyone around.

Woman taken down in airline brawl

During the fight, the woman kept behaving in unpredictable and defiant ways. She loudly claimed she wasn’t touching the other passenger’s hair, even though it was clear she had a fistful of it in her hand. As she continued to deny what was happening, she also shouted offensive insults. These verbal attacks weren’t just aimed at the woman she was fighting with but at everyone nearby, making the already tense atmosphere inside the plane even more chaotic and frightening.

Eventually, the disruptive passenger had to be restrained more forcefully. She was taken to the floor of the plane and held down. However, even after being physically controlled, she didn’t calm down. She kept screaming, kicking her legs wildly, and resisting the people trying to keep her restrained. The struggle to manage her continued as she fought back the whole time.

After the incident on the plane, more footage showed the woman being removed from the airport. She was seen being wheeled through the airport on a stretcher, with law enforcement officers nearby. In these later videos, she seemed much calmer, a big difference from her violent and uncontrolled behavior during the flight.

This isn’t the first time a Southwest incident went off the rails, but it comes with an insane paycheck, so we can see why the staff puts up with situations like this. Once she was taken off the plane, law enforcement confirmed that she was officially removed from the flight and banned from boarding any other flights.
