Target shopper notices man following her, then she realizes something was waiting for her in the parking lot: ‘He looks demonic’

A customer shopping at Target claimed she was followed around the store by a man who then proceeded to wait for her in the store’s parking lot. The woman took to TikTok to share her terrifying experience and warn other women to “keep your head on a swivel.”

“Something really scary just happened to me in Target in the middle of the freaking day,” TikTok Oona stated at the start of her video. She claimed that she was shopping at Target while on the phone with her mother when she noticed that a man was “a little too close” behind her. While she thought nothing of it at first, Oona soon began to realize that the man was stalking her around the store.

“I realized, like, I’m in a bunch of girl aisles back-to-back,” she said, questioning why the man would be in the same aisles as her, “He’s like a 30-year-old white dude.”

She then claimed that the man attempted to hand her a “raggedy sweater,” telling her that she dropped it, “I was like, ‘that’s not mine.’” Oona said the man followed her to the register and even waited while she pretended to do something on her phone in the hopes he would join the queue for the register first.

Oona noted that the man was buying bleach and claimed he “could not be more obvious,” saying he kept looking at her while they queued and even waited for her by the entrance to the shop. At this point, Oona claimed she was done with the situation and decided to inform Target staff.

The man waited in the parking lot

When Target staff initially spoke with him, Oona claimed the man refused to move, but eventually he did. However, she wasn’t prepared to take the risk and leave the store on her own; anything could happen in the parking lot. And so asked a worker to escort her to her vehicle.

That turned out to be the right call, as Oona described seeing the man crouched behind a pickup truck as she drove out of the parking lot: “I see the man hiding behind the box truck, I’ve never seen- I’ll never forget it- I will literally never forget it, the most maniacal, snickering, he’s like laughing to himself.” She went on to describe the horrific expression on the man’s face, claiming, “he looks demonic.”

Oona was left with lots of questions, such as why the man was buying bleach. What was the sweater about? Viewers agreed that the situation was scary and advised Oona to “call the cops.”
