THQ revealed today in their second quarter financial report that Metro: Last Light, Company of Heroes 2, and South Park: The Stick of Truth have been pushed back from their intended release dates.

The company is now listing Metro: Last Light and Company of Heroes 2 as releasing sometime in March, which is an unspecified delay since neither title ever had a specific launch date. Metro had already been delayed into the first quarter of next year, and this new delay was described as “later than initially planned”.

South Park: The Stick of Truth was previously slated for a March 5, 2013 launch but is now due out in “early fiscal 2014”, which would place it sometime after April 1, 2013.

In terms of the games that THQ did manage to get out the door during the quarter, Darksiders 2 sold 1.4 million copies worldwide. Despite breaking the million unit mark CEO Brian Farrell commented that this was “below our expectations”.

For the second fiscal quarter ending September 30, 2012 THQ reported $107 million in total revenues (down from $146 million year-over-year) and a net loss of $20.9 million. The loss is an improvement over the $92 million net loss they reported for the same quarter in the prior fiscal year, however, the delay of Metro: Last Light, Company of Heroes 2, and South Park is not going to make for a happy fiscal year report.
