‘Are you serious’: Lauren Boebert still hasn’t figured out how consent works, threatens she’ll get aggressive with Barack Obama

Real accountability, fake evidence.

Lauren Boebert has once again made headlines with a strong comment on social media, this time calling for what she described as “real accountability” for former President Barack Obama and others who worked with him. The Colorado congresswoman shared a post from Eric Daugherty that featured former President Donald Trump accusing Obama of treason, repeating claims that have not been supported by any official findings or new evidence.

In the original post, Trump is quoted saying, “The leader of the gang: Barack HUSSEIN Obama, have you heard of him?… HE’S GUILTY! It’s there! He’s guilty, this was TREASON.” The clip was posted on July 22 and has since been viewed over 3 million times. Trump also mentioned others, including Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, James Comey, John Brennan, and James Clapper. He said, “We have all of the documents! Tulsi has thousands of additional documents coming!”

Boebert added to this by reposting the clip and saying, “It’s time for some REAL accountability for Barack Hussein Obama and his collaborators. We’ve played nice for far too long!” This strong statement drew mixed reactions online. One user replied, “Lauren, are you serious about this? What’s the evidence?” while others supported her view and called for legal action. Boebert did not provide any proof to back her statement. Her tone was viewed by some as aggressive and raised concerns about how far some political figures are willing to go without evidence, reflecting her pattern of making inflammatory statements.

Trump repeated old claims without new proof

The clip shared by Daugherty shows Trump speaking to a group of supporters and press inside a room that appears to be modeled like the Oval Office. The event was covered by Florida’s Voice, a conservative news outlet. Trump repeated claims he has made in the past that Obama committed treason, but again, he did not provide any new information to support this. In the United States, treason is a serious charge that has a strict legal meaning, and experts have said that Obama’s actions do not meet that definition.

Tulsi Gabbard, who was mentioned by Trump in the clip, has also recently pushed for investigations into officials like Comey and Brennan. She claimed that they were involved in a “treasonous conspiracy” during the 2016 election. However, multiple independent fact-checkers have found no proof of criminal actions. There is also no public record of any new legal actions being taken based on these claims.

So far, neither the Department of Justice nor any other official body has acted on Trump or Boebert’s statements. Many critics believe these comments are meant to energize political supporters rather than reflect any real legal progress, continuing her controversial approach to politics. While Trump and his allies continue to focus on the past, legal experts and political analysts say the claims remain unproven.
