Donald Trump Jr.’s twisted vision for an alternate DCU is infinitely worse than anything James Gunn could come up with

Quick, somebody restore the SnyderVerse.

As things stand, the DCU fandom is split into two factions that love few things more than tearing each other apart. In one corner there are those who still want the SnyderVerse resurrected and restored, and in the other lies those who are happy to give James Gunn and Peter Safran the benefit of the doubt to see what they can come up with in Chapter 1: Gods & Monsters.

However, a third and infinitely more terrifying proposition has arrived; and it’s come from none other than Donald Trump Jr. Doing his best to ignore the fact that his father is currently riding the wave of being the first-ever current or former president to be indicted, arraigned, and facing criminal charges, Donald II: Electric Boogalo has decided to compare Jack Teixeira to Superman.

We can’t say we’re surprised the leaking of classified documentation has been snatched from the headlines by MAGA-supporting buffoons and then weaponized into an attempt to paint poor Donald Sr. as the innocent victim of the piece, not least of all when it’s coming directly from the fruit of his own loins.

If Teixeira would be more powerful than Superman, then where would the Trumps fit into all this? They’d probably envision themselves as Batman and Robin no doubt, but we’d probably take our cues from the twisted dynamic played to perfection by Michael Rosenbaum and John Glover as Lex and Lionel Luthor in the first few seasons of Smallville, even if it does end with one of them killing the other.
