‘Have the Pope fired’: Laura Loomer mad on behalf of Catholics everywhere, declares new Pope ‘unfit’ as he doesn’t worship Trump

Drunk on her power to influence Donald Trump on how to run America, Laura Loomer has led to the dismissal of several officials so far. Back in April, Loomer had presented Trump with a list of individuals she deemed disloyal to his “America First” agenda, and so he fired the Director of Intelligence, Senior Director for National Security, and more. And now, she has set her eyes on the new Pope.

While Trump is yet to drop his usual word salad to condemn the Vatican for not picking his choice – Cardinal Timothy Dolan, who has strong ties to him – he did acknowledge Pope Leo XIV, formerly Cardinal Prevost’s selection as Pope and calling his election “a great honor” for the United States. But what he doesn’t know is that the new Pope is “anti-Trump” and “anti-MAGA.”

Because the president is so clueless, his trusted unofficial advisor Laura “Looney-Tunes” Loomer – a far-right activist and vocal supporter of Trump – is here to express her disagreement with the Vatican’s decision because how dare they pick yet another Pope who isn’t as corrupt as her hero and doesn’t swoon at the very sight of the man. 

What is probably baking her noddles is the fact that Pope Leo’s Twitter/X page is proof of how critically he opposes everything Trump’s stands for and this plain distaste for the twice-impeached president and convicted felon goes years back. He has also expressed support for immigrants and social justice causes. For instance, he reposted messages advocating for the eradication of hatred and prejudice following the death of George Floyd. 

Loomer can’t have that.

So, by opening confirming that the Pope doesn’t have her approval – oh, the horror – and stating how “GROSS” it is that he now leads the Catholic Church, she is probably daydreaming that Trump will get him fired as well. But apart from provoking those morally compromised like her – conservative activist Jack Posobiec also jumped on board to express concern over the Pope’s alignment with MAGA principles – she has only managed to become the butt of jokes…

… and managed to piss off Catholics by insulting their current Pope and the late Pope Francis.

What dear Laura needs to understand – or write down somewhere because she keeps forgetting her place – is that Trump has no sway over the Roman Catholic Church. He cannot remove Pope Leo XIV — or any pope in the future — from office, which is governed by its own internal laws and traditions, and free of outside influence, least of all a man who is failing disastrously in running the country he planned to make “great again.”
