‘He didn’t!’: Jaws drop as Gavin Newsom comes after Donald Trump’s ‘nussy’

Once you see it...

Gavin Newsom and his press office have clearly decided that they’re done playing nice and nothing is off limits when it comes to attacking Donald Trump and his cronies.

Over the last few weeks, they’ve insulted, belittled, and mocked him from every possible angle – mimicking Trump’s all-caps social media style, relentlessly showing how his policies are ruining people’s lives, and bullying Trump over his diminishing mental faculties.

But now, finally, they may have gone too far. They’ve grabbed Trump right in the… nussy. What’s a “nussy”? Well, take a look at what the press office just posted. I’m sure you figure it out for yourself:

The resemblance of Trump’s neck, generally stuffed into a tight collar, to uh, that part of a lady’s anatomy has been widely noted over the years. However, frankly, as Trump has aged, the resemblance has become ever more pronounced.

Even so, no other Democrat would dream of calling out Trump’s nussy, so we and many others are shocked (and to be fair, also quite amused) that Newsom and his team are going this far. Here’s a selection of reactions:

Even X’s content moderation is confused:

Hypocrisy much?

And, naturally, MAGA is incensed that Newsom would stoop so low and are sniffily taking the high ground. Apparently, in what should be the new definition of hypocrisy, Trump supporters now believe it’s simply uncouth for one politician to insult another’s appearance:

But, on the other hand, this is the political world that Trump has forged for all of us by openly mocking other people’s physical characteristics, so it’s a bit rich for MAGA to start complaining that this is in poor taste.

Sure, you might say it’s hardly helpful for Newsom to adopt the tactics of the enemy to fight against him and that taking the high road is the more honorable route. However, at this point, honor in politics is an outdated concept, and the Democrats need to learn to get down in the mud and play dirty.

And hey, if Trump really does get extremely self-conscious about his nussy, perhaps we’ll get to see him sporting some stylish turtleneck sweaters?
