Marjorie Taylor Greene fails to understand the definition of ‘innocent’ after defending ‘persecuted’ Donald Trump

Imagine filing criminal charges against someone who broke the law.

As the wheels keep on turning in the ongoing legal proceedings against Donald Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greene has emerged as somebody who appears to be losing grip on the basics of word comprehension, with the controversial Karen confidently making several notable gaffes in the space of the last several days alone.

Having made the bold call to declare beer a gendered product in seeming solidarity with Kid Rock’s assault rifle-assisted attack on Bud Light, MTG either had no clue or conveniently forgot to acknowledge that Coors – her new brand of preference – has a long and supportive history with the LGBTQ+ community.

Following that up with even more boneheaded stupidity, she then declared herself as “the huckleberry” of the entire Republican party, conveniently omitting that the idiom originated in the 1800s to refer to something of little or no importance. Now, she’s overlooked the definition of the word “innocent,” laying into New York City once again to claim that persecuting Donald Trump is taking precedence over cleaning up the streets.

Every politician believes in their own rhetoric, but innocent people generally don’t tend to be indicted and then arraigned on dozens upon dozens of potential felony charges, not that we should need to point that out. And yet, Taylor Greene continues to push the agenda that there’s a witch-hunt underway, although nobody can seem to agree who deserves to be burnt at the stake.

One way or another, a lot of people are coming out on the other side with their reputations in tatters, but we’ll just have to wait and see who.
