‘Remind me, again’: Jasmine Crockett helpfully identifies which ‘illegals’ are actually destroying America

On June 22, Texas Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett delivered a scathing reality check to Donald Trump and the MAGA crowd. She did so in an X post that pulls no punches and drips with sarcasm.

While Republicans continue their frenzied campaign against so-called “illegals” crossing the southern border, Crockett decided to point out a few things—namely, the illegal acts that actually threaten democracy, stability, and, yes, the American people.

Her second point—“illegal & callous decimation of the federal workforce”—alludes to Trump’s sustained attacks on civil servants. Whether through loyalty purges, threats of government shutdowns, or staffing agencies with underqualified loyalists, the Trump era hollowed out expertise and morale across critical federal departments.

And then comes the haunting line: “illegal disappearing of people off of our streets.” That’s no metaphor, as ICE conducts raids across the country, flouting due process in many cases.

Her final jab—the “illegal invasion of Iran”—references Trump’s June 2025 airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, a brazen and unauthorized military action that reignited global fears of war.

The strikes, ordered without congressional approval and widely condemned as a violation of international law, marked yet another chapter in Trump’s legacy of impulsive, destabilizing foreign policy.

Critics say the move pushed the U.S. to the brink of open conflict, all while bypassing the very checks meant to prevent such recklessness.
