Trump lists his ‘TOP 25’ accomplishments of ‘TERM THREE’. The Iran war is one of them: ‘Obliterated Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity’

President Donald Trump shared a Truth Social post that laid out what he called his “TOP 25” accomplishments. He framed the entire list as belonging to “TERM THREE.”

Subjects on the list ranged from immigration and tariffs to taxes, the stock market, transgender policies, and foreign affairs. The ongoing war in Iran appeared among those items, even though the war has been hugely unpopular among Americans.

Trump said his administration had “obliterated Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity” through Operation Midnight Hammer and Operation Epic Fury. He added that the country would “NEVER have a nuclear weapon.”

The same post also pointed to the capture of former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. Trump said he had settled eight wars and noted the National Guard’s deployment to several U.S. cities.

The caption on the post read “TOP 25 TRUMP ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF TERM THREE.” The Iran war’s focus on nuclear enrichment has drawn other diplomatic moves, such as when Trump signed a deal with Saudi Arabia over the same concerns.

CBS News on Tuesday released photos it said came from active-duty service members. Those images, the network reported, showed extensive damage to U.S. military positions caused by Iranian missile and drone attacks.

A deployed U.S. troop told CBS the destruction amounted to “major damage to our bases that hasn’t been communicated to the American public.” The troop also said, “We’re standing there with our eyes closed getting punched in the face.”

This week, the Defense Department’s inspector general reported that the war has produced up to $3.7 billion in “equipment losses,” including close to 60 aircraft, as per CBS.

The Washington Post reported Friday that U.S. service member deaths in the Middle East since the war began exceed the figure the Pentagon has listed publicly. The discrepancy in casualty figures comes as Trump has claimed a swift resolution to the conflict, such as when he said a MAGA midterms victory would mean the end of the war with Iran.  

Five officials familiar with the Defense Department’s internal casualty data told the Post that at least 22 service members have died, four more than the 18 listed in the Pentagon’s public database, while a sixth put the number at 23.
