‘If it’s the Chinese, ma’am, they would own us’: Tennessee Rep. says pictures of mysterious flying objects can only be one thing

Tim Burchett wants the government to release all the information it has on UAPs.

The internet is abuzz with talk of UFOs and aliens after Donald Trump claimed to have found some “interesting” documents. Is it just another distraction tactic from Trump? Most likely, but more than a few people are willing to believe, and one of those people is Tennessee Rep. Tim Burchett.

The Republican congressman has been convinced of the existence of extraterrestrial life after he saw “pictures and video of things that defy any reason.” Burchett’s confession comes a few days after Donald Trump announced that the Pentagon would be releasing documents relating to unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs).

The Tennessee Rep. made an appearance on NewNation Tuesday to share his bizarre theories, explaining that he now believed in the existence of aliens after seeing the proof. “I’ve seen pictures and video of things that defy any reason that we have,” he stated, adding “everybody says, ‘Well, it’s our stuff, it’s the Russians, it’s the Chinese.’”

Those explanations don’t fly with Burchett, who believes that the UAPs are far beyond anything humans could possibly manufacture. Of course, it is worth bearing in mind that Burchett is a bit of a crackpot.

Tim Burchett thinks it’s aliens

According to Burchett, there is no way that the UAPs are man-made. While some may argue that it could be Chinese or Russian technology he’s convinced that isn’t the case. “If it’s the Chinese, ma’am, they would own us. If it was the Russians, they wouldn’t be bogged down in Ukraine.”

He went on to add that it couldn’t be done by U.S. tech either as he didn’t believe that the government would risk sending its own people in expensive aircrafts out to investigate. “If it was ours, we would never risk our military fighting men and women in half-a-billion-dollar aircraft out with these things that they’re spotting.” He may have an argument about the government not wanting to lose a half-a-billion dollar aircraft, but it’s unlikely the government would even think twice about putting people at risk.

Regardless, it’s hard to argue with that logic but then again it’s hard to argue at all without seeing the supposed evidence ourselves. Burchett claims that these UAPs can do all sorts of insane maneuvers, “These things can hover for hours on end, then they can just shoot straight up, they can do angles.”

He also recalled a conversation with a navy admiral who claimed to have detected an underwater craft the size of a football field moving at 200mph, “We don’t have anything of that capability or that size.”

Whatever Burchett has seen it was enough to convince him that the only possible answer is aliens. He’s called upon the government to release all of the information it has on UAPs to allow the public to decide for themselves.
