California woman walks into In-N-Out, ends up with her wig on the floor and gets a ‘double double with extra raw hands’

A physical fight broke out between an In-N-Out employee and a customer early Saturday morning at a location in Sacramento, California, according to the New York Post. The altercation reportedly took place at the In-N-Out on 2001 Alta Arden Expy. around 12:33 a.m.

Video of the incident showed the employee throwing punches after the customer allegedly acted disrespectfully toward her. The footage appeared to show the worker with the upper hand in the fight before her coworkers eventually pulled her away and restrained her.

The employee also appeared to have taken the first punch in the confrontation. At one point during the struggle, the customer’s wig came off and landed on the floor.

The employee could be heard shouting profanity at the customer during the fight. As the confrontation continued, a coworker was seen attempting to break up the altercation. Neither the employee’s identity nor the customer’s identity has been made public in the reporting so far. Disputes between customers and fast-food staff have made headlines elsewhere too, including a case where a drive-thru customer confronted McDonald’s workers inside the store after refusing an employee’s request.

It has not been revealed what led up to the alleged disrespect between the customer and the employee. Details about the employee’s current job status and the customer’s condition following the fight have also not yet been released.

This is not the first fight to be reported at an In-N-Out location recently. The New York Post had reported that a separate brawl broke out inside an In-N-Out in Arizona on July 13, days before the Sacramento incident.

In the Arizona case, the video showed a physical altercation among customers inside the restaurant. That confrontation reportedly happened as heavy monsoon rains pushed people indoors, filling the location with customers trying to escape the storm. Footage from the Arizona incident showed one man being struck by a single punch that knocked him to the floor as other customers scrambled to get out of the way. 

The Sacramento fight drew reactions online, with users divided over taking the side of the employee and the customer despite there being absolutely zero info about what really instigated the fight. One user wrote, “She caught a double double with extra raw hands lol.” Another user commented, “How embarrassing for In n Out to hire such feral trash that she can’t even control her temper. We expect a follow-up and a termination. That is all.” Public brawls have recently been reported at other restaurant chains, like a Texas Roadhouse fight witnessed by an Alabama woman.

At the time of writing it is not known if the employee facee any consequences for the fight. The In-N-Out branch also hasn’t publicly commented on the viral brawl.
