‘How did someone get into my apartment?’: Woman comes home to find mysterious package that she didn’t put there

She was dumbfounded over how the package got inside.

A woman on TikTok got the fright of her life after returning to her apartment to find a package had been left inside despite the door being locked, there being no gap big enough to push the package through, and her being sure that it wasn’t there when she left.

Kenna filmed herself in what could have been her final moments as she investigated her own apartment with a phone in one hand and a knife in the other. She looks worried as she searches her home for a potential intruder while she explains that a package that wasn’t there before she left had mysteriously appeared upon her return.

The package appears to be nothing more than a regular package that she ordered online but the scary part is figuring out how it got inside in the first place. In one particularly nerve-wracking moment that seems straight out of a horror movie we see Kenne nervously draw back the shower curtain with her blade. “I’m freaking the f*** out,” she says repeatedly as she searches for any intruders.

Ultimately she doesn’t find anyone but that doesn’t exactly put her mind at ease as she is still left puzzled over how the package got into her apartment.

Who brought the package inside?

Viewers were eager for an update with many even recommending that Kenna call the police. A few guessed that her landlord might have been the one to bring the package inside, “Maybe the landlord.” One person wrote, “Maybe it was delivered to the office and they were bringing it to you.”

Another viewer recommended not touching the package, after all, anything could be in there. It could be dangerous.

Of course, the landlord theory is the most plausible, after all, if someone was going to break into your home, it’s hard to imagine them bringing in the mail while they’re at it. However, it’s still somewhat concerning that Kenna’s landlord would just let themselves into her apartment without any warning.

In the end there was no intruder as, in a second video, Kenna explained that it was indeed her landlord. After recording the video she says she called her landlord and he confirmed that he was the one who brought the package inside but he didn’t tell her, “so that’s not very cool,” she jokes, “I feel like maybe you should tell me if you’re going to do that.”

People in the comments were inclined to agree. “That’s actually illegal,” wrote one person, others recommended changing the locks and installing a Ring door camera to prevent future scares.
