Celebrities like The Sopranos star Michael Imperioli continue to show their support to those individuals in the transgender community amid the anti-trans bills.
For context, last week, legendary actress Jamie Lee Curtis reposted an upload by Evan Ross Katz on her Instagram page after the writer revealed how disappointed he was that the right-wing party was attempting to start a war against those in the transgender community by spreading misinformation and trying to restrict their rights with the anti-trans bills.
The list includes the “drag ban,” which restricts where drag shows can be performed, and those that disobey the rules can face some form of punishment. At the same time, another bill prevents transgender minors from undergoing any treatment. Fast forward to March 14, Imperioli expressed his feelings regarding the situation by sending love to those affected by the recent news.
The 56-year-old wrote as he shared a photo of the transgender flag, “Dear brothers, sisters, and siblings. Fear not, be strong, and don’t let the bastards grind you down. love you.” As Imperioli’s post circulated online, many social media users commended the actor on Twitter for taking a stand on an important topic.
One Twitter user went as far as to call Imperioli “a real one.”
At the same time, another individual shared details about Imperioli’s history with the transgender community and how his band raised funds “for trans rights organizations.”
A third social media user disclosed that Imperioli made their day after they saw his post regarding the matter.
While a person suggested that they always knew that Imperioli was royalty.
At this time, no additional details regarding the anti-trans bills have been released.
