Woman takes Tinder date to the mall. Then he disappeared in the bathroom for 20 minutes: ‘I am SPEECHLESS’

A TikTok dating story is going viral after a woman shared what she called her “Tinder date from hell,” leaving viewers stunned by a twist that unfolded in a mall bathroom.

The two-part series, posted by ApplFrttr11 (@applfrttr11), has racked up a combined 150,000 views, with commenters saying they “were NOT prepared” for how the date ended.

In the first video, the creator explains how she matched with a man named Dylan on Tinder and quickly hit it off. “He has dark brown hair, very dark complexion, very cute,” she said, recalling why she swiped right. After chatting for four days and moving the conversation off the app, the pair agreed to meet over the weekend.

However, she already had plans to shop for a gala dress. Instead of postponing, Dylan suggested tagging along. “He goes, no worries, I can go with you to help pick out a dress,” she said, adding she was surprised he was eager to join.

It began at a Starbucks

As ApplFrttr goes on to explain, the date began at a Starbucks about a 15-minute walk from the mall, “that will be important later,” she noted, before the two drove together to continue shopping. Early on, things seemed promising. “We have a ton in common, and he’s really nice,” she said.

After striking out at a few stores, they headed into a higher-end department store she described as “kind of like a Saks, but a little bit down from a Saks.” That’s when the situation took a turn.

Dylan told her he needed to use the restroom, and she decided to go as well. “This is where the date takes a turn for the absolute worst,” she teased in part one.

The bathroom incident

Part two picks up the story inside the mall. After finishing in the restroom, the woman stepped out and realized Dylan was nowhere to be found. She texted him, waited several minutes, and even asked a stranger to check if he was still inside. “Crickets,” she said.

After about 20 minutes of waiting outside the bathroom, Dylan finally emerged. When she questioned him, he initially brushed it off, saying, “Oh no, I was just in the bathroom. The Starbucks just really wasn’t sitting well.”

But as they continued shopping, he admitted there was more to the story. “Do you want me to be completely honest with you?” he asked her. Then came the revelation that stunned viewers.

Dylan hooked up with a guy on his Tinder date

According to the TikTok creator, Dylan confessed that while she was waiting, he had “messed around” in the bathroom with an older man who had exited just before him. “I was like, what do you mean messed around in the bathroom?” she recalled, clearly shocked by the admission.

At that point, she said she made an excuse to end the date. Dylan drove her back to her car and attempted to kiss her goodbye, which she refused. “Absolutely not, sir. I dodge that, and I just leave,” she said. “And that was the last time I saw Dylan.”
