Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season Finale Clip Continues To Tease The #FallenAgent

Next Tuesday sees the two-hour season finale of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and ever since the opening scene from one of the first season 3 episodes, we've known to expect a major character death. That shot clearly showed an unidentified Agent on a space shuttle of some kind, bleeding out at zero gravity while a crucifix chain floated nearby.

That shot clearly showed an unidentified Agent on a space shuttle of some kind, bleeding out at zero gravity while a crucifix chain floated nearby.

We later discovered that the cross belonged to new recruit Yo-Yo Rodriguez, but after forming a connection with Mack, the Inhuman speedster passed it onto him. If you thought that was an indication that Mr. Mackenzie was going to be the #FallenAgent, you might want to hold your horses, because in the sneak peek above he returns the cross to its original owner, Yo-Yo.

I have a feeling this might be a bit of misdirection, as after all of this back and forth it’d be far too obvious if either of them wound up biting the bullet. But if it’s not one of them, then who? May? Daisy? Lincoln?
