Barry Confronts Thawne In New Photos From The Flash

Now that the cat is out of the bag and Barry Allen is well aware that his daughter, Nora, is in collusion with his archenemy, Eobard Thawne, expect for the Scarlet Speedster to seek answers when The Flash returns for the final handful of episodes making up season 5. And though I'm pretty sure Nora is innocent in this situation, I understand that her father wants to be 100% sure of what's going on.

As you can see in bountiful gallery found below, Barry does indeed travel to 2049 in order to confront Thawne in his cell. While there, I surmise that much be revealed not only to him, but to we the viewers as well. After all, even though we know more about what’s up than Barry himself, we’re still in the dark when it comes to the major details.

Oddly enough, one thing I was hoping to see in a gallery for “Godspeed” was, you know, the Godspeed character. Yes, I know he was confirmed when some set photos leaked online, but I find it strange how he’s been left out of the promo material entirely. Then again, the mysterious man seen with Nora in some of the flashback photos could be this show’s iteration of him.

Also of interest in the slideshow is that of a few shots showing Danielle Panabaker behind the camera. That’s right, the woman responsible for bringing both Caitlin Snow and Killer Frost to life will handle directorial duties for this one. Now that she’s been around the set for a handful of years, I’m sure she’s gotten a good idea of how things are done, so odds are she’ll make us proud.

For more on “Godspeed,” be sure to check out the official synopsis:

DANIELLE PANABAKER DIRECTS — After discovering that Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) is working with Thawne (Tom Cavanagh), Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton) disagree about how to handle their daughter in the wake of this shocking news. Team Flash isn’t sure they can trust Nora, so they go through her journal to find out exactly how she came to work alongside their greatest nemesis. Danielle Panabaker directed the episode written by Judalina Neira & Kelly Wheeler (#518).

The Flash returns with new episodes on Tuesday, April 16th on The CW.
