Ash and his tight-knit band of survivors are all set, the villain – Baal, a powerful new antagonist portrayed by Sons of Anarchy‘s Joel Tobeck – is a lock and today, Starz has premiered the first poster for Ash Vs. Evil Dead season 2 that finds Bruce Campbell’s one-armed hero saluting the Stars and Stripes in the face of undead chaos.

Preparing to tackle the Deadite resurgence head on for another 10 episodes in October, Campbell’s wise-cracking lead will be headed to Elk Grove. Uprooting from his beloved and indeed makeshift shelter in Florida, Ash Williams will be flanked by Pablo (Ray Santiago), Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) and Ruby (Lucy Lawless), who can all be seen pledging their allegiance to the American flag down below.

Completing that cast of hardened survivors are Michelle Hurd – on board to play former flame to Bruce’s larger-than-life lead – Lee Majors as his wayward father and, finally, Ted Raimi as the fan-favorite Chet Kaminski.

‘Glory, Gory, Hallelujah!’ Expect Ash vs. Evil Dead season 2 to march onto Starz come October 2. That lends you ample time to catch up on the events of the show’s inaugural run of episodes, with Ash vs Evil Dead: The Complete First Season landing on Blu-ray just yesterday, August 23.
