It’s been a slow burn so far in this season of Game of Thrones, but the latest episode, “The Gift,” finally delivers on a couple of the biggest moments in the series yet.

This week on The Cast Beyond the Wall, we discuss Tyrion’s meeting with Daenerys and Cersei’s swift, self-imposed downfall. Did they live up to the five seasons’ worth of build up? Tune in to hear our thoughts.

Elsewhere in Westeros, Stannis is faced with the decision of whether or not to sacrifice his daughter in order to ensure victory over the Boltons in Winterfell. House Baratheon has made some pretty impressive strides in redeeming Stannis this year, but it looks like this decision could be the one that defines his legacy in the land of Westeros.

Meanwhile, behind the walls of Winterfell, Sansa continues to fight to survive against Ramsey’s cruelty and this week’s episode delivered what seems to be the final blow to her escape plan. Despite witnessing one of most horrific moments of the series in the conclusion to last week’s episode, Theon remains under Bolton control. Is there any hope he snaps back to reality and redeem his ties to the Stark legacy?

Give the latest instalment of The Cast Beyond The Wall a listen below to see what we have to say about all that and more. And, as always, feel free to leave a comment letting us know what you thought of the show.
