Constantine Features In New Legends Of Tomorrow Season 4 Photos

When I wrote my review for the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow season 4 premiere (you can read it here), I couldn’t help expressing my curiosity for seeing what kind of mystical threats await the team beyond a unicorn possessing a taste for human flesh. And while the guest to follow may not end up being of the evil variety, we now have a better idea of what’s on the horizon.

Thanks to a number of images taken from the second episode to air this season, “Witch Hunt,” we’re able to confirm this is when the gang will cross paths with an actual Fairy Godmother. Additionally, various Legends can be spotted in attire native to the relevant time period, sans John Constantine, of course. One has to imagine that it’ll take the enigmatic exorcist a little more time before he’s willing to play ball, not to mention the era of the Salem Witchcraft Trials likely not being the greatest fit for him.

As you browse the gallery below, you may notice it’s not as meaty as one would usually expect. One very real possibility to consider is that the network could be holding off on revealing anything that’d be viewed as being too spoiler-ish until after the premiere has passed, so keep watching this space if indeed other goodies pertaining to this installment are made available.

In the meantime, though, it’s recommended that you study the official synopsis for more info:

NOT YOUR TYPICAL FAIRY GODMOTHER — When the magical Time Seismograph goes off, the team finds themselves headed to the Salem witch trials. Sara (Caity Lotz) notices that Zari (Tala Ashe) is taking this case personally when she promises to save a mom, who is being accused of being a witch. However, the team quickly learns that there is a magical creature in the town creating problems they hadn’t been expecting. Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Zano) and Ava (Jes Macallan) work together to try to keep their Time Bureau funding by proving to them that magic exists. Matt Ryan, Dominic Purcell and Brandon Routh also star. Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Matthew Maala (#402).

Legends of Tomorrow returns for its fourth season on Monday, October 22 on The CW, with “Witch Hunt” set to follow on October 29.
