The CW Has A New Hero In Latest Promo Video For Supergirl Season 2

After debuting on CBS last year, Supergirl is making the move to The CW this Fall. To promote that, the network has released a brand new promo video welcoming the iconic DC Comics superhero. Sadly, there's no new footage in the video, but it does do a great job of using material from season one to get fans hyped for what's to come.

As of right now, we still don’t know whether or not Supergirl‘s move to The CW will mean that she becomes part of the same world as Arrow and The Flash. There’s been some speculation that the events of Flashpoint will bring her into their reality, but that’s something we won’t know for sure until these shows return next month.

It would be foolish of The CW not to find a way to bring all of these characters together though, especially as it will make crossovers much easier (one of which has already been confirmed for the winter). With Superman set to appear in the Supergirl premiere, the prospect of the Man of Steel hanging out with characters from the Arrowverse is obviously also massively exciting.

We’ll just have to wait and see on that front, but expect more to be revealed as soon as The CW releases a trailer featuring footage from season two of Supergirl.
