Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) has been out of the picture for a while, so it looks like it's time for Thea Queen (Willa Holland) to find herself a new beau. According to ET Online, that's going to be a character created just for Arrow named Alex Davis, who'll be played by Parker Young (Suburgatory, Enlisted). Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) has been out of the picture for a while, so it looks like it’s time for Thea Queen (Willa Holland) to find herself a new beau. According to ET Online, that’s going to be a character created just for Arrow named Alex Davis, who’ll be played by Parker Young (Enlisted). Davis is described as “a smart and driven young man, who will work for Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and become a potential love interest for Thea.”

We also have details on who former True Blood actress Rutina Wesley will be playing. EW reports that she’ll actually be an established, but obscure DC character named Liz Warner, who was a female police officer known as… Lady Cop. They obviously weren’t very creative back in the ’70s. The site also adds that “Arrow’s spin on the character is said to be surprisingly different as she will be a member of the anti-vigilante task force.”

They’ll both be joined on this upcoming season by the likes of Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt/Mr. Terrific, and Neal McDonough as the latest big bad, Damien Darhk, plus regular stars Stephen Amell, Willa Holland, Katie Cassidy, Paul Blackthorne, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards and John Barrowman.

Arrow season 4 premieres on October 7th at 8PM on The CW.
