The Extended Promo For Next Week’s iZombie Episode Will Leave You Breathless

Now that we're just weeks away from the season finale, iZombie is really kicking it into high gear, to put it mildly. Seeing as how last night's episode left us on a cliffhanger that saw Ravi with a gun pointed at his head, I'm probably not alone in saying that next week's offering, "Conspiracy Weary," can't get here fast enough.

Now that we’re just weeks away from the season finale, iZombie is really kicking it into high gear, to put it mildly. Seeing as how last night’s episode left us on a cliffhanger that saw Ravi with a gun pointed at his head, I’m probably not alone in saying that next week’s offering, “Conspiracy Weary,” can’t get here fast enough.

Unless my eyes are deceiving me, Ravi is entirely absent from the trailer embedded at the top, thus preserving the suspense, but the network has already seemingly spoiled his survival by including him in the official synopsis. Yes, deaths that significant are normally reserved for finales, but you never really know these days.

Speaking of which, “Conspiracy Weary” looks like it may be the most action-packed episode since season 2’s finale. I’m well aware that fans of this series don’t want this to ever become a clone of The Walking Dead, but when your show involves zombies, you do have to pay it off here and there. And if that weren’t enough, we’re getting Liv and Blaine on conspiracy theorist brains, which may very well be worth the price of admission alone.

As for the earlier mentioned synopsis, here you go:

SEND IN THE CAVALRY – Liv (Rose McIver) and Blaine (David Anders) come to the rescue of one of their own. They consume the brains of a conspiracy theorist and paranoia ensues. Meanwhile, as they continue to search for conspiracy theories that may or may not exist, Liv researches Major’s (Robert Buckley) new friend. Finally, Ravi (Rahul Kohli) makes a surprising discovery of his own. Malcolm Goodwin and Aly Michalka also star. The episode was written by Bob Dearden and Directed by Mark Piznarski (#311).

iZombie airs on Tuesday nights on The CW.
