We’re talking, of course, about this year’s Arrowverse crossover, which will be with us next month. Titled “Elseworlds,” there’s so much to look forward to that we’d be here all day if we were to list everything. But as the spectacle quickly approaches, The CW has been getting more and more generous with the marketing material and today, we’ve got the juiciest look at the crossover yet.

Though we’ve already had a few bite-sized promos, this is the first proper trailer for “Elseworlds,” and despite only being about 30 seconds long, it’s packed full of tantalizing teases, intriguing plot details and, of course, a quick shot or two of black suit Superman in action. Frankly, it’s enough to have any fan losing their mind and it’s sure to amp up the excitement to stratospheric heights.

As you can see above, we finally get to learn a bit more about what exactly’s going on here, with it becoming pretty clear that Jeremy Davies’ Dr. John Deegan is the one responsible for this messed up reality. What exactly his end goal is remains unknown, but it seems that he isn’t too keen to put things back to the way they were.

Throw in some interesting footage of the Monitor, John Wesley Shipp’s 90’s Flash making an appearance and even a glimpse of Batwoman, and you’ve got one heck of a preview. One that has us practically begging for December to roll around, as that’s when things will officially kickoff.

In case you don’t have it marked down yet, “Elseworlds” gets underway on Sunday, December 9 with The Flash, continues on Monday, December 10 with Arrow, and wraps up on Tuesday, December 11 with Supergirl. Don’t miss it.
