Unveiled by showrunners Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, this Rick and Morty sneak peek shows a transformed Rick coming up with a plan to escape some sort of prison by killing a rat and using its remains to build himself a suit he can then use to take the rest the lab rats out.

Is Rick a…sausage?! Some sort of bug? It’s hard to say for sure, but it’s already been confirmed that the predicament we left the character in at the end of season two will be resolved quite quickly in the premiere, so chances are this has nothing to do with that. Either way, the show’s return really can’t get here soon enough, and this clip emphasizes why that is.

Rick and Morty has become a huge hit since launching on Adult Swim a couple of years ago, and the series has built up a sizeable fan following which has ensured that it’s remained on the air. A premiere date hasn’t been revealed just yet for the new season, but stay tuned for updates.
