New Photos And Synopsis For The Flash Introduce Weather Witch

Even if some of the biggest mysteries confounding viewers of The Flash end up being solved within the next few weeks, there's still much we can look forward to before the winter hiatus arrives. In fact, the network has been generous enough to release images and a synopsis relevant to the Thanksgiving episode.

Oddly enough, said offering won’t arrive until the week following Turkey Day, but we’re still going to receive a hearty helping of Team Flash enjoying each other’s company while stuffing their faces. Of course, there’ll be more to the episode than just that, though a full hour of watching them eat would be a bold move made by the producers.

Before we proceed any further, though, let’s take a look at that new description and gallery promoting “O Come, All Ye Faithful”:

THANKSGIVING — While Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) grapples with unresolved anger over her father’s disappearance in the future, Barry (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash must stop a powerful new meta, Weather Witch (guest star Reina Hardesty), from killing her own father, Weather Wizard (guest star Liam Mcintyre). Sarah Boyd directed the episode written by Jonathan Butler & Gabriel Garza (#507).

As you can see, Weather Witch features in a few of the above photos, so I’m looking forward to seeing how her deadly rivalry with her pops, Weather Wizard, will play out. With dear old dad being one of this series’ oldest villains, you could say his return adds even more appeal.

If you possess a keen eye, then you also noticed an unmasked Cicada in the slideshow as well, so expect to see more of his personal life. I’m just wondering if “O Come, All Ye Faithful” will have dual meaning, thereby making the big bad a cult leader of sorts like his comic book counterpart. This territory has already been tread by Alchemy and, to a different degree, Supergirl‘s Agent Liberty, so let’s hope for something a little different.

The Flash airs on Tuesday nights on The CW, with “O Come, All Ye Faithful” set to debut on November 27th.
