The Flash Season 3 Adds TDKR’s Joey King As Magenta

Previous reports indicated that Barry Allen's infamous 'Rogues Gallery' was going to get a major boost for season 3 of The Flash, and that was no exaggeration. Following the most recent addition of Mirror Master, the latest villain to join the fray is Magenta - a metal-manipulating metahuman with some series psychological issue. Plus, The CW has scored an up-and-coming Hollywood star for the role.

Previous reports indicated that Barry Allen’s infamous ‘Rogues Gallery’ was going to get a major boost for season 3 of The Flash, and that was no exaggeration. Following the most recent addition of Mirror Master, the latest villain to join the fray is Magenta – a metal-manipulating metahuman with some series psychological issues. Plus, The CW has scored an up-and-coming Hollywood star for the role.

Fans of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy will likely recognize 17 year-old Joey King from her brief role as the younger Talia al Ghul in the third installment, The Dark Knight Rises, but she’s gone on to impress in the likes of Oz The Great and Powerful, The Conjuring, Independence Day: Resurgence and FX’s Fargo TV series.

Here’s how this take on Magenta is described:

A teen with a troubled past, Frances “Frankie” Kane is a meta-human with the ability to control metal… but her powers come with a dangerous side-effect, causing her villainous alter ego known as Magenta to emerge.

See King give The Flash all he can handle as Magenta when the mega-popular CW series returns for its third season on Tuesday, October 4.
