New Gotham Featurette Offers Plenty Of Footage And Character Details

Fox is working hard to build anticipation for Gotham, a show that piqued our interest based on the premise alone. We've already seen a trailer and host of new images for the Batman prequel series, which just got picked up for a 16-episode season. Now, a new featurette has hit the Web, which features interviews with series creator Bruno Heller and pilot director Danny Cannon. They're joined by cast members Ben McKenzie (who plays Jim Gordon), Donal Logue (Harvey Bullock) and Jada Pinkett Smith (Fish Mooney) who talk a little bit about their roles and their excitement for the series.

Fox is working pretty hard to build anticipation for Gotham, a show that piqued our interest based on the premise alone. We’ve already seen a trailer and host of new images for the Batman prequel series (which just got picked up for a 16-episode season) and now, a new featurette has hit the web.

Featuring interviews with series creator Bruno Heller and pilot director Danny Cannon, as well as cast members Ben McKenzie (Jim Gordon), Donal Logue (Harvey Bullock) and Jada Pinkett Smith (Fish Mooney), we get to hear a bit more about everyone’s roles and their excitement for the series.

Along with the interviews and new plot details comes a ton of new footage, which shows off the dark nature of Gotham City and the evil and corruption that will someday reach its breaking point, giving way to costumed vigilantes and megalomaniacal super villains.

It all looks quite exciting and I have to say, this is hands down one of my most-anticipated upcoming shows, and I think that most people will share that sentiment. Gotham looks to be an excellent addition to the Batman cannon and I cannot wait to see how it all plays out when it premieres on Fox this fall.
