Though we’ve yet to even witness the events set to unfold during episode 5×03 of Gotham, we’re already being granted an advance look at 5×04. That’s right, the network has generously allowed for preview images taken from “Ruin” to begin circulating, and we’re going to discuss them today.
In some cases, forecasting what’s to happen in comic book TV shows can prove difficult before we’re all caught up, but this instance is somewhat straightforward. From the look of it, whatever’s set to go down during “Penguin, Our Hero” may very well live up to that title, as it appears Oswald Cobblepot is quite revered by the city’s population in the gallery promoting “Ruin.”
In addition to his resurgence in popularity, it should also be noted that the shaky alliance between Jim Gordon and Barbara Kean will continue. As you browse the slideshow below, you’ll be able to sample yet another meeting between them. Not only that, but Babs looks like she’s taken fashion tips from Devil May Cry‘s Trish.
Not to be found anywhere are hints at Selina Kyle’s continued pursuit of Jeremiah Valeska, but rest assured that the future Catwoman is still on the hunt for the would be Clown Prince of Crime. Odd as it may seem, she could be the one actually coming out on top because she’s “safe” and there’s no actual guarantee of Jeremiah becoming the one true Joker in this universe – though mounting evidence is pointing toward him doing just that.
