How many episodes is Netflix’s ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always?’

The reunion fans hoped for is finally here.

These are happy times for fans who grew up with the Power Rangers franchise since its very first show in the ’90s. This year marks the series’ 30th anniversary, and naturally, the occasion had to be celebrated in some way. Thankfully, Netflix promptly took matters into its own hands, bringing back part of the cast from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers for a nostalgia-filled adventure.

Despite the series being targeted at children and pre-teens, when the entertainment company announced a new addition to the franchise, even old-time fans were stoked to dive back into this universe. Unfortunately, though, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always is not the long-running comeback some hoped for, meaning there is no new season for fans to pore over. This installment isn’t exactly a movie, either, but a simple special episode with a runtime of an hour, instead of the typical 20 minutes the franchise has gotten viewers used to.

Those who joined the Power Rangers universe later down the road can still enjoy Once and Always, of course, but there’s no denying that the experience will be much more fulfilling if they do so after catching up with the original Mighty Morphin. Luckily, Netflix has its three seasons available for streaming.

The classic show’s first season has 60 episodes, a number that was reduced to 52 in season two, and even further in season three, which concluded with 33 episodes. This amounts to a total of 145 episodes Netflix subscribers can enjoy. If they’re interested, fans can also watch the 32-episode revised version of season one on the platform.
