Marvel and ABC have today released an Inhumans centric promo for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season three, and it puts an emphasis on Quake and the team she will put together to tackle a dangerous new threat.
The season three premiere of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (titled “Laws of Nature”) airs tomorrow night on ABC, and is described as follows:
Director Phil Coulson and Agent Daisy Johnson leading the charge as S.H.I.E.L.D. searches the world for more powered people in the aftermath of their epic battle with Jiaying and her army of Inhumans. However, Coulson and the team soon find out that they are not the only group looking for these new Inhumans.
This latest preview contains some great action, something the Marvel series has never really been lacking. However, those scenes have often revolved around Agent Coulson’s very human team battling super-powered threats, not powers vs. powers, and it’s that which might just make season three of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. the best to date.
Last year, The Flash really stole the show in terms of small screen comic book adaptations, and Marvel is no doubt feeling the pressure to compete with that.
