As with the sneak peak at the series that was shown to the audience at the event, the first poster has yet to drop online but, thanks to this sneaky snap, we can get a glimpse of it. As you can see, it’s a starkly-designed piece featuring Pedro Pascal’s mysterious Mandalorian warrior, standing in front of an alien landscape. This could be Tatooine, which is reportedly the main setting of the show.

Just as this has leaked online, so has what you might call the first trailer for The Mandalorian, though it was more of a behind-the-scenes featurette that also contained some footage from the series itself. In any case, you can watch it here and see showrunner Jon Favreau and exec producer Dave Filoni discuss – what they can – about what fans should expect. Including the fact that the series is set five years after Return of the Jedi, making it a rare trip into the period between the original and sequel trilogies.

Star Pedro Pascal also says that his enigmatic protagonist might be more “relatable” than we were expecting, as he feels that the Mandalorian’s suit and helmet represents the armor we all wear in everyday lives. Plus, it just looks really cool.

An exact release date has yet to be announced, but The Mandalorian will arrive on Disney Plus later this year.
