Marc Guggenheim, the creative genius behind DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (among many other shows), has today posted a sneak peek of this year’s Arrowverse crossover. And it really is a sneak peek.

Via Twitter, Guggenheim shared an up-close look at the episode’s bumper script, which is expected to bring together all of the usual famous faces – Legends of Tomorrow notwithstanding – and Ruby Rose’s Batwoman, before the character is granted her own standalone series in 2019 – a standalone series that will also be rooted in Gotham City.

It’s the only true setting for a show involving kick-ass crimefighter Kate Kane, though there’s been some debate about where, exactly, this year’s Arrowverse crossover will take place – let alone which universe.

Be that as it may, over the past few weeks we’ve caught wind of DC’s super-sized cast, which has already made room for the likes of Lois Lane and Superman, along with a mysterious Kryptonian. All of those characters (and many more) are likely tucked away within the pages of Guggenheim’s script, which can be viewed below:

Like we said, it’s a tease… and nothing more than that. Still, it’s reassuring to know that the final script has been locked in ahead of the December crossover, which, thanks to the addition of Ruby Rose as Gotham’s Caped Crusader (no, not that one), is shaping up to be one for the ages. Don’t sleep on this one, folks, as it’s expected to be bigger and more ambitious than the last three crossovers combined.

Airing over three consecutive nights, look for DC’s annual Arrowverse crossover to grace the small screen on December 9th – and only then will we be able to run the rule over Ruby Rose’s interpretation of Batwoman.
