The CW has released the first official images from the season two premiere of Legends of Tomorrow, and they offer up a first look at…Oliver Queen?! While Green Arrow has made a handful of appearances in the series already, it’s fair to say that no one expected the Star City vigilante to make his presence felt in this particular episode.

What he’s up to here is hard to say, but it looks like he’ll be spending some time with Nick Zano’s Dr. Nate Heywood (the future Captain Steel) and confronting Heat Wave for reasons unknown.

The rest of the images in the gallery above focus on the team’s efforts to protect Albert Einstein from the villainous Damien Darhk. The Arrow season four villain will join up with Reverse-Flash, Captain Cold and Malcolm Merlyn to form the Legion of Doom in Legends of Tomorrow season two, but what his plan is for this real life historic figure is tough to say.

It seems like there a lot of mysteries surrounding Legends of Tomorrow this year, but it has at least been confirmed that the Justice Society of America are on the way. That team will be made up of characters like Obsidian, Commander Steel, Stargirl (who we got a first look at in a recently released promo), Vixen, and Hourman.

Legends of Tomorrow season two will premiere on The CW on October 13th, so stay tuned for further updates!
