Plot Details For Falcon And Winter Soldier TV Show Revealed

It’s been evident for a while now that the upcoming Avengers: Endgame is going to bring some seismic changes to the MCU, making it only natural that Marvel Studios is staying pretty tight-lipped about the plot details of the various stories emerging in its wake. It’s been evident for a while now that the upcoming Avengers: Endgame is going to bring some seismic changes to the MCU, making it only natural that Marvel Studios is staying pretty tight-lipped about the plot details of the various stories emerging in its wake. Nonetheless, MCU Cosmic has just reported on a new batch of rumors circulating on the various Disney Plus spinoff shows in the works, and among these alleged spoilers are some hints on what’s to come in the planned Falcon and Winter Soldier series.

Unsurprisingly, it’s said that the Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes show will be a spy thriller, with the report drawing comparisons to Captain America: The Winter Soldier. What’s more, the leak claims that the series will tie in very closely with the post-Endgame events of the MCU, as the pair are recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. as part of a new group that also includes comic book hero US Agent. On top of that, it’s alleged that Nick Fury will play a role in the show (which would perhaps explain those old rumors of Samuel L. Jackson’s character having a Disney Plus series) and that Agent 13, aka Sharon Carter, might also be involved.

Obviously, none of this is yet verified, but at the very least, the claims line up pretty well with what we’ve previously heard about a potential S.H.I.E.L.D. comeback, not to mention Jackson’s recent hints that his run as Nick Fury won’t end with Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Regardless, we’ll likely get some important context on the Falcon and Winter Soldier show – not least where Captain America is in all this – when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th, 2019, before Disney Plus launches later in the year.
