From what we can tell, time is still “broken” in the scenes these photos were culled from. We say that because there’s really no other explanation as to why Julius Caesar would be confronting Heat Wave on the beach. Normally, you wouldn’t see such a thing unless you were seriously inebriated – something not unfamiliar to Mick Rory – but in this case, we’re inclined to believe that he’s sober enough. Thus, it’s probably safe to assume that time is quite out of joint.

And speaking of Beach Blanket Bingos, odds are that the Waverider crew thought Rory’s idea of venturing to Aruba wasn’t a bad idea since, well, the season 3 premiere is titled “Aruba-Con.” That aside, we’re intrigued to see how the team comes up with a way of setting things back to normal without letting the Reverse-Flash kill their mothers. Hey, it did get the job done for Barry Allen.

Elsewhere, we can see that Rip Hunter has taken a page out of Arrow’s Quentin Lance’s book by shortening his hair with each passing season. In about a year’s time, we expect him to be bald. But for now, the images featuring him further point to him possibly having an agenda of his own this time around. And knowing how we’ll be seeing Captain Cold and Damien Darhk from different perspectives, assuming such a thing doesn’t seem all that outlandish.

Legends of Tomorrow returns for its third season on Tuesday, October 10 on The CW.
