Speaking of home video releases, now seems like an opportune time to remind everyone that Supergirl: The Complete Third Season will arrive on Blu-ray and DVD tomorrow, Tuesday, September 18th. And to celebrate that, Cinema Blend have shared a deleted scene to be included in said package.

In the clip found below, you can check out an exchange involving the Maiden of Might, Saturn Girl, Livewire and Psi that none of us had been able to witness before this point. Omitted from the episode titled “Fort Rozz,” it shows us the beginnings of one of the series’ strangest alliances.

Of course, this wasn’t the first time that heroes and villains calling the Arrowverse home had teamed up for the greater good, as Legends of Tomorrow‘s pilot episode immediately springs to mind. Before that had aired, we’d all wondered how the heck Captain Cold and Heat Wave were going to get along with the Atom, White Canary and other do-gooders, but it all worked out in the end.

Now, some of you may recall that things didn’t go so well for Livewire in this particular instance, though I’m choosing to avoid spoilers for those who are going into the Blu-ray fresh. Hey, we have to leave some surprises for their viewing experiences, right?

Supergirl returns for its fourth season on Sunday, October 14 on The CW.
