This just keeps getting better and better. The upcoming CW television crossover, “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” is arriving this December and the good news just won’t stop rolling in. The latest? According to sources close to We Got This Covered – the same sources who told us Viola Davis was returning for The Suicide Squad, and that Taskmaster will be the villain in Black Widow, both of which were later confirmed – Rosenbaum will indeed bring his fan-favorite Lex back, if only for a quick cameo. No details beyond that have been spilled just yet, but hopefully that’ll change, and soon.

In any case, we know that the crossover will have no shortage of villains and heroes. In fact, Lex’s nemesis, Superman, will have multiple version as well. Tyler Hoechlin, not surprisingly, will continue his role from Supergirl and in what could be one of most badass moments of the show, it sounds like Brandon Routh will have a double part as Legends of Tomorrow‘s Ray Palmer, aka The Atom, and as the Kingdom Come version of the Man of Steel. And as if that wasn’t good enough, news of Rosenbaum’s return arrives at the same time as reports that say Tom Welling is also in talks to show up for a cameo as Clark Kent.

This is a lot to take in, so please, take your time. And time you have, as “Crisis” will air this December and involve The CW’s Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning, Supergirl, The Flash and the upcoming Batwoman. The DC stars will be joined by multiple faces from the past and present Gotham City, as well. In case you haven’t heard, Burt Ward, who played Robin on the 60’s Batman TV show, will appear along with Kevin Conroy, who voiced the Caped Crusader in Batman: The Animated Series.

Obviously, “Crisis on Infinite Earths” is shaping up to be absolutely huge and with the crossover not set to air for a few more months, you can bet that additional surprises are on the way, too.
