Synopsis Released For Legends Of Tomorrow Season 1, Episode 3

We're less than a week away from the series premiere of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, but The CW is already teasing us with details about the third instalment of the Arrow/The Flash spinoff. While it doesn't spoil anything major from the two part pilot (which will air over the course of two weeks), it does shed some light on some of the unique team-ups we should expect to see in the episode.

We’re less than a week away now from the series premiere of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, but The CW is already teasing us with details about the third instalment of the Arrow/The Flash spinoff. While it doesn’t spoil anything major from the two part pilot (which will air over the course of two weeks), it does shed some light on some of the unique team-ups we should expect to see in the episode.

Here’s the full synopsis for “Blood Ties”:

SNART VISITS HIS PAST; STEIN AND RAY TEAM UP — Rip (Arthur Darvill) decides to weaken Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) by going after his financial assets. Rip and Sara (Caity Lotz) infiltrate Savage’s bank, but are discovered by his men. Meanwhile, Snart (Wentworth Miller) and Rory (Dominic Purcell) talk Jax (Franz Drameh) into taking the jump ship back to Central City so they can steal a valuable emerald. Professor Stein (Victor Garber) guides Ray (Brandon Routh) on a dangerous mission. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Chris Fedak.

One of the most exciting thing about Legends of Tomorrow is going to be seeing these unique alliances, and it’s hard to top seeing Firestorm working alongside Captain Cold and Heatwave to pull off a heist. The mention of Savage’s “bank” is also interesting, and it’s clear that this episode is really going to delve into how the villain has gone about gaining so much power.

We’ll find out more when the “Blood Ties” chapter of Legends of Tomorrow airs on The CW on February 4th. Until then, tell us, what are you most looking forward to seeing from this one?
