Never Have I Ever, which was loosely inspired by the childhood experiences actress and comedian Mindy Kaling went through growing up, follows the life of an Indian American teenager named Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) as she navigates through high school following the tragic passing of her father.
The show also stars Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, Darren Barnet, Jaren Lewison, Lee Rodriguez, Ramona Young, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Megan Suri, Niecy Nash, and many others. On April 13, Netflix shared what fans could expect from the upcoming Never Have I Ever season by uploading a new trailer via Instagram and Twitter alongside the date it would premiere on the streaming service.
In the trailer, Devi and her friends are gearing up for their senior year and the accompanying changes, such as college and other opportunities. As fans began to view the trailer for the last season of Never Have I Ever, many couldn’t contain their emotions.
One expressed how sad they were by sharing a meme of a crying Patrick Starfish from the SpongeBob Squarepants series.
At the same time, another Twitter user revealed that they were “freaking excited” for the new season.
A third person shared that they couldn’t wait for the show’s last season.
While a social media user showed their excitement by using several emojis.
The fourth and final season of Never Have I Ever is scheduled to debut on Netflix on June 8. To catch up before then, fans can watch seasons 1 through 3 now streaming on Netflix.
