Today we have the official release date for Beenox’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. According to its latest press release, Spidey’s latest gaming adventure will be hitting the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and Windows PC on April 29.
Taking place alongside the events of the upcoming film, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will focus on the webslinger’s search for his beloved Uncle Ben’s killer. Once again boasting an open world environment, the sequel will feature a new morality system as well as several villains who won’t appear in the film, such as Kraven the Hunter.
If you are interested in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, then it might be in your best interest to consider pre-ordering the title from GameStop. Those that do so will receive the Web Threads Suit Pack, which contains the following:
- The Red and Gold Iron Spider Suit (From Marvel’s Civil War comic arc)
- The Cosmic Spider-Man Suit
- The Symbiote covered Black Spider-Man Suit
- The Noir Spider-Man Suit, which has previously appeared in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions
