Dead Rising 3 Ships 1 Million, New Trailer For Operation Broken Eagle Released

The Dead Rising franchise and I have a bit of an odd relationship. I really didn't care too much for the first two entries into the series but boy did I love Dead Rising 3. It's quite possibly my favorite next-gen game thus far, or at least one of them, and I had an absolute blast playing it. It seems like that sentiment is shared by most people in the gaming community, too, as Capcom has just announced that the title has shipped one million units as of December 20th, 2013.

That’s great news and as a huge fan of the game, it makes me very happy to hear. Plus, it couldn’t have come at a better time as the first bit of DLC for Dead Rising 3 released this week. Available on its own for $10 or as part of the $30 season pass, the expansion is titled Operation Broken Eagle and brings us new weapons, a new vehicle and of course, a new character and storyline to play through.

To amp up excitement for the DLC, Capcom has released a new trailer, which can be seen below. Its brief, but it definitely gives us an idea of what to expect from this first expansion.

Tell us, are you going to be picking up the first bit of DLC for Dead Rising 3? Let us know in the comments section below and be sure to check back later today for our review on Operation Broken Eagle.
