The House of Mouse is beginning to set the wheels in motion for the Disney Infinity 3.0 marketing bonanza, and considering that Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic is very much acting as one of the title’s headliners, the company has today published an array of screenshots for the play set, which will whisk players away into a galaxy far…well, you already know the rest.
Released via Nintendo Everything, the images are embedded in the gallery below and include a young Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Twilight of the Republic will act as the first of three Star Wars play sets, and the others are as follows.
- Twilight of the Republic set in the Episodes 1-3 timeline featuring Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Darth Maul.
- Rise Against the Empire set during the original trilogy featuring Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Darth Vader.
- Star Wars: The Force Awakens – details of which will be announced at a later date. It will be released this winter alongside the film of the same name.
Disney Infinity 3.0 will bundle together Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic along with other SW-related play sets when it debuts for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One later this year.
