Due to go live for those on PlayStation 4 first come February 12, the early phase of testing will make the jump to PC on February 19, and you’ll need to have pre-orderded the game digitally along with an internet connection to gain access. It should be noted that the finalized Hitman that graces store shelves next month won’t require an internet connection.

Here are the official specifications via Steam:

Minimum PC System Requirements

OS: OS 64-bit Windows 7
Processor: Intel CPU Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz / AMD CPU Phenom II X4 940
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 / Radeon HD 7870
DirectX: Version 11

Content creators across Twitch and YouTube will be able to capture gameplay and screenshots from the upcoming beta until their heart’s content. Don’t expect any contracts at this early stage, though, as the developer has no plans to host the Hitman beta on Xbox One.

Hitman has been penciled in to launch across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 11. Though Square claim that the stealth game’s arrival is only the beginning, with a steady string of content (read: new missions, assignments and maps) ready to roll out in the months after release.
