Unconfirmed images of promotional materials for a Call of Duty: Black Ops II add-on map pack titled Revolution popped up online today, suggesting that Treyarch’s latest shooter will soon get its first DLC release.

If the pictures are real, the Revolution DLC will add a total of five new maps to the game; Hydro, Grind, Downhill, Mirage, and Die Rise. Although the promotional artwork does not state any specifics about the maps, the zombie soldier on the Die Rise picture would seem to indicate that the map is destined for the game’s Zombies mode.

Aside from the five new maps Revolution also offers buyers a “Peacekeeper SMG”, making it the first gun DLC for the franchise. It’s unknown at this point how Treyarch will implement the new weapon into matches, or if they will allow non-buyers to pick up the bonus SMG from downed enemies.

Additional pictures of the unconfirmed map pack found online indicate that it will launch as a timed exclusive on the Xbox 360 on January 29, 2013.

Neither Activision Blizzard or Treyarch have confirmed the leaked images, so consider this a rumor for now. As soon as the Call of Duty: Black Ops II Revolution DLC is announced we will report all the official details.
