Abbie Cornish Joins Martin McDonagh’s Seven Psychopaths

Australian actress Abbie Cornish has had a big year, starring in several big films including Limitless, Sucker Punch and W.E. Now, she has signed on to star in director Martin McDonagh's Seven Psychopaths.

Australian actress Abbie Cornish has had a big year, starring in several big films including Limitless, Sucker Punch and W.E. Now, she has signed on to star in director Martin McDonagh‘s Seven Psychopaths.

Cornish will play Kaya, the girlfriend of Colin Farrell‘s character. Aside from Farrell and Cornish, the film will also star Christopher Walken, Tom Waits, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson and Olga Kurylenko.

The plot synopsis is as follows:

“The twisty tale centers on Billy (Rockwell), an unemployed actor and part-time dog thief who wants to help his best friend, struggling screenwriter Marty (Farrell), by any means necessary. He teams with Hans (Walken) and together they steal the beloved Shih Tzu of Charlie (Harrelson), who then goes on the hunt to find out who took his pet.”

Seven Psychopaths is currently filming and will be in cinemas in 2012.
