Exclusive Video Interview With The Cast Of About Alex

Taking its inspiration from The Big Chill, About Alex is a new ensemble drama from director Jesse Zwick that tells the story of a group of high school friends who reunite one weekend after one of them tries to commit suicide. A strong cast and some sharp writing from the first time filmmaker turn what could have been a melodramatic story into something that really resonates, thanks to the big, beating heart that's at the centre of it.

Our very own Isaac Feldberg reviewed the film last week, and gave it 4/5 stars and saying:

It’s extremely easy to forgive an imperfect movie for its flaws when, like About Alex, it showcases a big, beating heart that is clearly in the right place.

Last week, I had the chance to sit down for an exclusive interview with the cast of the film while they were attending the LA press day. Speaking to Jason Ritter, Aubrey Plaza, Jane Levy, Maggie Grace, Nate Parker and Max Minghella, we got the scoop on what it was like

Check it out above, and be sure to catch About Alex as it’s now in theatres.
