Seeing as the new trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar will be arriving next week with Godzilla, it’s to be expected that the marketing campaign is kicking into gear right about now. To prepare us for what is one of 2014’s most highly-anticipated films, EW has released two new photos for us to feast our eyes on.

As is usually the case with these “EW First Look” photos, we’re not given a whole lot. The first shot features Matthew McConaughey holding a Lunar Lander in his hand. There’s no description or context provided and considering how cryptic the plot of the film is, it’s really impossible to tell what’s going on. That being said, the blurb that accompanies it mentions that the plot involves “black holes, relativity, gravity, and their effect on time,” as well as a “very human story about a father and a daughter.” So I guess that’s something, right?

The second image, on the other hand, is a lot more straight-forward, as it’s simply just a shot of Nolan on set with a camera. Nothing too exciting and quite frankly, it’s a photo that could have been taken from the set of any of his films.

Unfortunately, neither of these photos reveal anything of substance and it looks like we’re just going to have to wait patiently until that new trailer drops next week. I’m hoping that it gives us a better look at the film than the initial teaser (seen below) did. This being a Chris Nolan movie though, I wouldn’t count on it.

Interstellar stars McConaughey along with Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, John Lithgow, Casey Affleck, David Gyasi, Wes Bentley, Mackenzie Foy, Timothée Chalamet, Topher Grace, David Oyelowo Ellen Burstyn, Michael Caine and Matt Damon. Be sure to check back next week for the new trailer.
